I was talking to someone today who seemed to be looking at the world from their perspective which is okay.
However, they then proceeded to tell me all about the things that had apparently not worked out for them from that perspective.
I listened, and instead of plunging headfirst into THEIR perspective and being drawn in and sympathetic and taking on their negative feelings about what had happened…
I did a Short Shift.
I changed gears.
I took it up a notch.
I looked at what was being said as if from a higher place of love and compassion.
I hugged them and said “I thank you for being you.”
And, guess what?
They did a Short Shift too!
They jumped out of what was not working and into a better place!
There was a noticeable change of energy!
So, if YOU are feeling like something isn’t working in your world…do a Short Shift!
Love yourself…be kind to yourself…and shrug your shoulders…it is what it is….and ultimately…all will be well…
