How many of us worry about certain of our features?
We look in the mirror, but are we able to talk to the face that appears there and genuinely say, ‘I love you,’ and mean it?
I know we are human, and we worry sometimes about standing out because we DO tend to be team players, we DO like to be part of the crowd and accepted by all; BUT, what really happens to the true US when we do this?
We lose ourselves, and part of us inside dies a little when we keep comparing ourself to others.
We call ourselves short.
We criticise our nose, our hair, the laugh lines that we earned, and our wrinkles amongst other things!
I love me and I wish you would love yourselves too, so, I am suggesting that it is our differences that actually make us SPECIAL! UNIQUE! And AMAZING! There is literally no-one else exactly like you…We all have different fingerprints, different DNA, different irises and so many other differences too many to mention because we are all INDIVIDUALS….thats right….we ARE supposed to be different.
So, how about just being YOURSELF today….be TRUE to what you look like, and feel like….and own it all!
You may just find that people start treating you with love and respect once you love and respect yourself.
I hope you do….I hope you have a great life…one that radiates the true essence of YOU! BE BRAVE! And next time you look in the mirror….smile….and send yourself a thought of ‘I really AM okay JUST AS I AM!’
I did this as an experiment once a day for a week, and I can attest to the fact that my life changed dramatically for the better when I just thought those thoughts and felt how okay I really was. Why don’t you try it for a week and see?
Angel hugs to All,
